白炜鹏，1994年9月生，陕西西安人。2016年本科毕业于陕西理工大学；2022年博士毕业于中国科学院大学-中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所。曾参与河北泥河湾盆地、山西天镇辛窑子、内蒙古化德土城子、山西襄汾上鲁村、青海柴达木盆地无人区、河北黄骅丱兮城等多个地点的古生物地质调查和考古调查发掘工作。
